Workshops

Self-paced workshop curriculum for hands-on training with SEC-IMS. Each session combines explanation with hands-on exercises and is designed to be worked through at the trainee’s own pace.

Format

Sessions follow a consistent structure:

• Introduction — what the session covers and what you should already know
• Exercises — numbered, step-by-step, with code blocks you can copy
• Tips and notes — set apart as callouts when they apply
• Wrap-up — recap and what to do next

Status

One session is available:

• QGIS → SLD → OpenLayers — authoring layer styles in QGIS that export to SLD and render correctly in the SEC-IMS map viewer via SLDReader.

Additional session topics are being scoped. The introduction chapter is a placeholder until that curriculum is settled.
